About SATEC MUN

A conference built for the work of diplomacy.

SATEC Model United Nations is a student-led forum for learning how to research, negotiate, speak, and lead when the answer is not obvious.

OUR PURPOSE

Model United Nations turns global questions into a practical challenge: represent a position faithfully, listen closely, and build enough common ground to act.

Our 2026 conference brings together traditional United Nations simulations and imaginative crisis committees. That range gives new delegates an accessible place to begin and experienced delegates a reason to stretch.

What good debate looks like

01

Research before rhetoric

Strong debate begins with evidence, context, and a clear understanding of the position you represent.

02

Disagreement with respect

The best delegates challenge ideas directly while making room for other people to speak and contribute.

03

Progress through action

A speech matters when it helps the room move toward a workable resolution, directive, or shared understanding.
